The following is a sample of assignments delivered by Ynys Witrin Consulting.
As Director responsible for delivering IM&T strategy and all programmes and projects, including the National Programme for IT, across NHS organisations in Sussex:
- • Established Sussex-wide programme to deploy an electronic care records service to 10,000 users, maintaining momentum across 5 major projects, encompassing all NHS organisatons in Sussex.
- • Delivered a live Cerner Millennium electronic patient record service to NHS organisations totalling 2,300 users, run as a business change programme with full benefits identification. Mobilised and led a team of up to 180 staff working 24/7 during cut over to live running and transition to service management.
- • Gained board support to the definition and scoping of a Sussex-wide IM&T programme to drive and support clinical service transformation to achieve the 10 year strategic vision of the NHS.
Worked with one of the UK’s leading retailers, with over 21 million people visiting stores each week. Employs over 75,000 people in the UK and abroad and has over 600 UK stores.
- • Key player in the programme to implement credit cards across the chain. Managed the procurement and implementation of a credit card reconciliation package with links to real-time till data from stores.
- • Led the design and development of a web-based credit card chargeback system, which was later marketed across the retail sector and reduced exposure to credit card chargeback and fraud by £1m p.a.
- • Led the design and development of the key KPI reporting tool for the chain, utilising web technologies. Increased to 10,000 users and over 1 million web pages viewed per week.
- • Worked on the relocation of finance services out of London and the movement off shore of IT support services, requiring interaction with a range of external suppliers, management consultants and internal clients.
